Facilities

Founded in East Melbourne in 1875, PLC completed the move to Burwood, a predominantly residential suburb 15km east of Melbourne"s CBD, in 1959. All facilities are located on a single 16-hectare, park-like campus and include Senior and Junior Schools, Early Learning Centre, Boarding House, Music School, Gymnasium, heated indoor Aquatic Centre and numerous ovals, playing fields, tennis and netball/basketball courts.
Senior School specialist facilities include 11 science laboratories, computer rooms, art and ceramics studios, library and information resource centre, canteen, student dining room, a 200-seat lecture theatre and a 1000 seat assembly hall that also caters for drama productions.
